Disaster has struck at Fido Fun Farm… the Great Spring Show is in chaos! 🌼 Overnight, someone has sabotaged the event — the prize rosettes have vanished, the picnic hampers have been raided, and the all-important May Day centrepiece has disappeared without a trace! Now it’s up to our incredible sniffer dogs and their handlers to save the day. Follow the scent, uncover the clues, and track down the missing items before the Spring Show has to be cancelled! This special May Sniffer Dog Trial gives you the choice to enter at Bronze, Silver, or Gold level — or, if you’re feeling adventurous, take on all three! Each level brings new scent trails, trickier searches, and a fresh layer of mystery for you and your dog to solve together. Bronze level Red Kong. Silver Level Catnip retrieve and Napier Gun Oil. Gold level, catnip retrieves, water search, people search and truffle oil.
What to Expect Your dog will have the chance to take part in a series of exciting, instinct-based activities designed to challenge their mind, build confidence, and strengthen your partnership. Straight Retrieve A classic gundog exercise. Your dog will run out in a straight line to collect a retrieve item and bring it back to you—simple, satisfying, and a great introduction to gundog work. Pheasant Pen Retrieve Test your dog’s ability to work in a more realistic setting. Retrieves are placed within a “pheasant pen” style area. Up ‘N’ Over Retrieve A fun and energetic challenge! Your dog must navigate an obstacle (up and over) before completing the retrieve—perfect for building confidence and enthusiasm. Short Scent Trail (Aniseed Trail) Let your dog’s nose do the work. Follow a laid scent trail using aniseed, encouraging natural tracking instincts and focus. Tennis Ball or Red Kong Quartering Who Can Enter? Everyone is welcome! No previous gundog experience required Open to all breeds, ages, and abilities Ideal for pet dogs, working dogs, and curious beginners

This special Christmas Sniffer Dog Trial gives you the choice to enter at Bronze, Silver, or Gold level — or, if you’re feeling brave, try all three! Each level offers new challenges, clues, and festive mysteries to solve as your dog uses their nose to uncover the truth behind this Christmas crime. Expect a day packed with festive fun, rosettes and prizes, hot drinks, mince pies, and plenty of Christmas cheer.
